You want to do the best for your dog...
But knowing the best way to go about it can be a struggle. We’ll help you understand what you actually need to do, and most importantly, why you’re doing it!
This webinar helps to filter out all the unnecessary bits and pieces that aren’t getting to the root of the problem. We’ll focus on the best way to go about helping your dog through some common behavioural issues like reactivity and anxiety, and ultimately help your dog become calmer and happier!
I NEED THIS!This webinar is for...
Humans who want to help their dog relax in our world, to pause and think rather than just do, to make better choices. It’s for people who want to do whatever they can to help their dog feel and ultimately cope better.
This webinar will help you...
🐾 Understand the benefit in taking time rather than being on all the time; helping to slow things down for your dog so they have the chance to make more desirable choices.
🐾 Understand the ‘why’ behind some common behavioural issues, like reacting on the lead, struggling when not near their human, barking at every sound, and being unable to make desirable choices when excited.
🐾 Put a plan in place to help address the issues you and your dog face. We’ll help ensure they are able to get the rest they need, be able to pause so they can think more and create more desirable associations and behaviours that are good for both of you.
🐾 We'll guide you through the practical steps you can take to help your dog create more desirable associations, feel comfortable by themselves, be able to switch off in the home environment, and discover that calm can be reinforcing too.
After this webinar...
You’ll understand the most effective ways to help improve your dog’s emotional state, leaving them calmer and more content.
You’ll gain insights into making the most of this relaxed state when it comes to your dog’s learning and the choices they make.
We’ll break down some behavioural issues and learn effective strategies to help in making changes to address some common behavioural problems, such as lead reactivity, lack of independence, hypervigilance around the home, and inability to regulate arousal.
We’ll guide you through the practical steps you can take to help your dog create more desirable associations, feel comfortable by themselves, be able to switch off in the home environment and discover that calm can be reinforcing too.
Instead of thinking: "How can we stop our dog from behaving in a way we find undesirable?"
Let’s change it to: "Why is our dog behaving like this, and how can we help them so they don’t need to behave like this anymore?"
Hi. I'm Kate
Your number 1 supporter, confidant, and helper.
I love dogs! So much so that not only are they a part of my family, but I have also consistently worked in roles that enable me to help them in some way, shape, or form. From vet nursing, veterinary pathology and training classes, to the one-on-format that has allowed me to take a deep dive into behaviour.
My business, For Paws, originally came to be because my first dog needed more help than we were able to find in order to feel comfortable in the world around her. Lola, my husband and I ended up learning what she needed, so she could be the amazing dog she was meant to be.
Lola unfortunately left us and this world too soon, but her legacy lives on! Learning there was a different way of approaching behaviour problems in dogs led me to continually evolve my training and consulting style. When our dogs are feeling better, they can begin making choices better!
JOIN THE WEBINAR!Our dogs need us to help them learn that relaxing can be a good thing and that taking a moment can give them the ability to process what is happening in our world.
